Inotek has expanded its operations in Victoria with the launch of Pro9 Vic prefabricated wall systems, supported by a new 10,500 square metre manufacturing facility in Sunshine West, Melbourne.

This expansion brings together Inotek’s frame and truss division with Pro9 Vic wall system manufacturing, enabling a more integrated approach to modern methods of construction across Victoria – a full construction solution.
What Pro9 Vic Wall Systems Are:
Pro9 Vic wall systems are prefabricated wall panels designed for offsite construction and faster installation on residential building projects.
Each wall system is manufactured in a controlled factory environment and includes:
PU insulation applied during manufacturing
Windows installed in the factory
Service ducts integrated into the frame
Magnesium sulphate external board
90mm timber frame with a total wall thickness of 125mm
These prefabricated wall systems are delivered to site ready for installation, reducing the need for multiple trades and improving build consistency.
Slab to Lock-Up in Under 5 Days? “How?” We Hear You Ask:
Pro9 Vic wall systems enable builders in Melbourne and regional Victoria to achieve slab to lock-up in under 5 days on a standard home.
This is made possible by:
Offsite manufacturing of wall panels at your Sunshine West facility
Delivery of fully integrated wall systems
Installation using crane trucks
Fast on-site fixing using threaded rod chem-set into the slab
Typical project outcomes include:
Approximately 3 days to lock-up for a single dwelling
Around 10 days to lock-up for a 5-unit development
Example project of 6 units reaching lock-up in 15 days
This significantly reduces construction time compared to traditional on-site building methods.
Energy Performance and Thermal Efficiency
Pro9 Vic wall systems are designed to meet modern energy performance requirements in Australia.
Key performance metrics include:
R value of 4.6
7 star energy rating with single glazed windows
8 star energy rating with double glazed windows
This supports the delivery of energy efficient homes while maintaining a slim wall profile.
Supporting Modern Methods of Construction in Victoria

Modern methods of construction (MMC) are increasingly being adopted across Melbourne and Victoria to improve housing delivery outcomes.
Pro9 Vic wall systems support MMC by:
Reducing time on site
Improving construction accuracy
Lowering material waste
Streamlining build sequencing
By shifting construction processes into a controlled factory environment, prefabricated systems improve efficiency and predictability across residential projects.
Economic and Environmental Benefits
Pro9 Vic wall systems provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional rendered wall systems, including comparable products such as Hebel.
Key advantages include:
Reduced labour costs due to faster installation
Lower overall project timelines
Less material waste through controlled manufacturing
Improved energy performance for long-term operational savings
These benefits support both economic efficiency and environmental performance in residential construction.
